Blogger.com is a blogging site that allows you to upload images. It's fairly simple to set up a blog on Blogger.com. You can do so in a matter of minutes and be on your way to "registering" your own art by posting it on your blog. You can also post where you've left your art and any other thoughts you may want to share.
So that other Found Artists can find you, I am creating a new area on the Found Art site that will list the entries Found Artists have made to their blogs within the last 24 hours.
When you make a new post on your blog, the title of your entry and a link to your entry will be added to the Found Artist Artist Update list. Other Found Artists and visitors can click on the link and be taken to your blog to read about where you've left your art or to see pictures of the art you've left.
If you set up a blog on Blogger.com for your Found Art, I ask that this is the only type of post you make. Anything not related to Found Art you can post on any other blog. (You can have as many blogs as you like for free on Blogger.com.) I want members and visitors to Found Art to be able to quickly see what other Found Artists are doing without having to sort through other posts.
After you create your Blog on Blogger.com, e-mail me your URL (Shari@foundart.org) and I'll add it to the list of Found Art Blogs. This will allow Found Art members to come visit you and leave comments for you.
If you have any questions about setting up an account on Blogger.com or turning on RSS feeds, please let me know. I'm more than happy to help. I can't wait to see the list of updates generated and visit your blogs to see your art! |
